About Us

At Splash, we approach any event as if it were our own. Be it your wedding day or your company retreat, your parents' renewal of vows or your daughter's bat mitzvah, we treat each event as if it were our wedding, our company, our parents, our daughter. We make sure that at the end of the day, you want us to plan your next party, gala, fundraiser or wedding and that you would recommend us to a friend or family member.

 

For the past eight years we have both lived and worked in Denver, accumulating a combined twelve years of working in the Denver nonprofit and corporate scene, both as employees and as event planners. Five years ago, after planning Stephanie's wedding and those of a few close friends, we acknowledged a new and exciting area of interest. Since starting Splash we have planned weddings from Costa Rica to Wisconsin to New York to all of Colorado. We work with the bride and groom and their families to make this occasion a success for everyone. The extensive experience and enthusiasm you receive at Splash is due in part to the combined vision and organizational skills of a team approach. Our customers receive the value price of one coordinator while benefiting from the insight and resources of two.

 

We have also planned corporate Christmas parties, launch events, nonprofit retreats and recognition events. In our years' experience on the nonprofit scene in Denver, we have worked on fundraisers, corporate luncheons, and gala dinners. We have served on boards and community groups, which has given us the insight to understand and recognize budgets and overall organizational missions as well as valuable time restrictions of a busy company. Working with Splash ensures that no detail will be overlooked and that your event will run smoothly and without disruption to the everyday workings of your organization.

 

Our private parties have included bat mitzvahs, holiday parties, anniversary parties, luncheons, honeymoons, anniversary trips...whatever you can imagine! We like to approach these very personal events as we would weddings, not necessarily in scope but in the personal touches. A renewal of vows is very different from a fundraiser and we approach it as such, however we always approach every event with the same vigor, enthusiasm, and vision.

 

Louise was born and raised in Wisconsin and moved to Denver in 1999 after graduating from college.  She has coordinated large events and volunteer functions in the Denver nonprofit scene for the past seven years until leaving her job to begin her own event planning business. Louise recently planned her own wedding, which took place in Wisconsin in June of 2006. Her passions are corporate and nonprofit events and fundraisers.

 

Stephanie was born in New York City and raised in Connecticut. She moved to Denver in 1999. After planning her own Denver wedding in 2002 she decided to pursue event planning as a career.  She then obtained a masters in business administration from the University of Colorado at Boulder in order to gain the business experience to help start Splash. She loves the personal aspects of private parties and weddings as it's the people that make her work harder.
